Ceinwen Wright Carrejo is a multidisciplinary artist and educator, working with various mediums including textile and fiber, paper, ceramics, and video, and other object and image making forms. Her work draws from methodologies and ideas found in arts based research such as a/r/tography, motherscholarship.  Centering around ideas of material agency, material collaboration, and the sharing of bodies as connected to mothering and child/adult collaboration, her work explores memory and experiences of touch and material collaboration, and how these aspects of learning and making with "inter" and "intra" actions inform her own understanding of creative and material engagement. At the center of the practice is a slowing down to the attention of listening, looking, feeling.

Ceinwen Wright Carrejo was born and raised in San Francisco, CA, and earned her BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art in 2010, and MA in Art Education from the University of New Mexico in 2025. She currently lives and works in Albuquerque New Mexico.
